Omg the food was EXCELLENT & FULLFILLING
Roaches on the bar right after we sat down. No oysters, gumbo was very weak(worst gumbo I've ever had) Unresponsive bar attendants, specialty drink was unflavorful. Definitely wont come back
Great food and casual atmosphere. Recomend highly catfish and barbecue shrimp.Very welcoming staff.
Awesome place!! When in NOLA, never miss a visitar to Algiers and this restaurant. Ask for the daily special. @your_trip_tips
Cool neighborhood bar, cold beer and the bar tender that evening made a killer rum punch. Seen some folks having food, looked to be fairly standard bar food.
Great place to have a few drinks and some yummy food. Bonus: super nice staff and convenient location to walk on the ferry if you want to go across the river!
Service was quick hugh servings and delicious!
Good food, neat place, team spirit with Irish Pub feel
An excellent place to have a great lunch always, hangout karma and just sit outside and enjoy the day. The service is excellent , dry dock cafe is very clean Is very friendly people. I've never had a bed meal nor have I ever had a bad time here. I had a triple Decker club sandwich was more than I could possibly equally was absolutely delicious. The roast beef and au juice is divine. I promise you if you like it what try it you would be back over and over again
Our 1st time to Algiers Point and a local recommend that we have lunch here. What a great suggestion! It's close to the ferry, cute place, food was great, service was fast, priced great, and we will definitely go back. The bread for the Muffaletta was so soft and the sandwich was flavorful. The gumbo was really good as well. We shared lunch and there was plenty for two. This is a must try!

Great lunch spot, enjoyable atmosphere and wonderful service!
Favorite place in Algiers! Wonderful Bloody Mary's
Great little place in a little town. The food was good and they had outdoor seating for me to eat with my dog. Definitely worth the ferry ride over from New Orleans.
Nice lunch gathering. Server very nice.
The first time I arrived at this location was in March/2014 and they didn't wanted to serve us so we ended up leaving. Their facility was empty and after waiting 15 minutes we left and explained to the manager it was unacceptable.I decided to give them a second chance and this time we felt welcome. Since the ferry was not working and it was low season in January/2020 they were more appreciating for our business. I had the steak burger meal and it was fresh, made to order. The staff was friendly this time. I believe a 3 star rating is fair based on my experience.
Excellent food. Good service. Love this side of New Orleans.
Food was delicious!!!! Coming back next year!!
Delicious food and drinks, friendly staff, nice local feeling bar, cool interior and great location.
Delicious! Great service!
Comfortable place. Good food. Good Drink. Cool staff. So worth the visit. I was looking forward to a big good muffaletta, I was not disappointed! You can take the canal street ferry in, which is also pretty cool.
Nice little neighborhood cafe. Great customer service! My server was very attentive and checked on me regularly. I had the Roast beef french dip,it was very good
Delicious food, great service, and friendly people made our visit here a highlight of our recent trip to NOLA. We were doing the tourist thing downtown and decided to ride the ferry across the Mississippi, there on the opposite side, right next to the dock, was this lovely neighborhood-style pub. It was a pleasant surprise, and definitely the comfy kind of place you'd want to catch the big game on Sundays the classic old wood bar, the nautical decor, and the welcoming people made us feel right at home. The seafood was pretty tasty, too!
Great local place with ice cold draft beer. Friendly staff with great service.
Casual and friendly. Authentic gumbo, some local craft beers. We'll be back!
Great (strong!) drinks and friendly service. Great place to grab a bite and watch some sports. 10/10
Great food, freshly prepared. Good customer service. Definitely will return for another taste of their speciality. Highly recommend
Had a great lunch at the comfy Dry Dock Cafe . We had been wandering aroun the historic Algiers Point neighborhood and wanted to have lunch before heading back home on the ferry and streetcar. It was nice to see models of ships maybe that brought people to this shore 300 years ago on display. Also a Wisconsin pennant hanging on the wall made us feel at home. I had a delicious Caesar Salad with plump fried oysters arranged nicely. My wife had the odd combination of French onion soup and egg rolls which she enjoyed. Took a lot of Photos so bear with me. Highly recommend and the service was terrific. Outdoor seating was available also.
Cool little local bar with Great food!
Lots of seating options and historical environment of Algiers Point. Soups are delicious. Friendly staff and good service.
Fast service! Special of the day with crawfish sauce was fantastic
When you get off the ferry its a small spot on the right side. Don't walk far,the price was right, the amount was really good and the service was great. We had a mufalleta which was Ohhh...soo..good. Love the history and decor I will be back.
Excellent food. Decor is clever and service good.
The prices that are online are incorrect. I was charged $12 for a burger that is listed as $8. And 13.95 for the Hamburger Steak. Won't be eating there again. Food was cold and not worth that sort of money.
Great food staff not so good as we waited for 25 mins to even be noticed it wasnt until the bartender came to tend to us did we even get a menu
Ok for drinks and simple food when you are on that side of New Orleans.
Hot sausage po'boy is legit. Friendly bartenders and good selection of alcoholic beverages as well.
Good is excellent. Service can be slow, depending on your server.
Great pub food. Its not the prettiest or fanciest place in New Orleans, but the wait staff is friendly and the food is delicious. My parents-in-law are from South Africa and have a particular taste. When we walked in their noses went up from the decor but once they had some of the food, the were very excited. Also, my wife and I went in on a Sunday night when the Saints were playing and the bar tender was handing out free shots even after we said go rams. A great place with good food and awesome humans. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to get out of the French Quarter and see a different part of New Orleans.
Food was delicious. A little expensive, but average for the area.
Good food, awesome servers, and great rum runners! The gumbo is delicious.
Helpful bartender and informative about transportation schedule. Good brownie. Accommodating with program requested on tv.
We stopped in for a few drinks and appetizers. Their lemonade was fantastic. The Cajun fries and potato skins were delicious. Nice place to kick back and have a few while you wait for the ferry.
Food and setting were good. However we put the meal on a charge card. We had the bill of x dollars and when it was presented for signature it was $5 more. I questioned the boss and he went ballistic. That action convinced me it was intentional. What is $5 to a tourist. Beware.
This place is pretty good for what it is. Nothing fancy. But they have some decent food. Good service. Nice people. Old-school.
Very cozy rest spot in historic Algiers Point across the Mississippi River, NOLA. Great prices.
Local bar opposite the ferry terminal at Algiers point. The po-boys were excellent and the guy who served us could not have been nicer or more helpful. Get on the ferry and come over the river to get some local colour!!
Great selection of food for such a small place. Food was really good.
Great place to have a drink or a meal. Bartender was so nice and gave us lots of suggestions for things to do during our afternoon at Algiers Point. If it weren't for her, we wouldn't have known about the glass blowing or great shops in the area!
